Jimmy Corum is a native of Bell County, and a graduate of Bell County High School and the University of Kentucky. Jimmy then attended the University of Kentucky’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, where he graduated in 2010. For the last 10 years, he has worked as a physical therapist in Middlesboro, KY. He is deeply committed to giving back to the Appalachian region that is home. Jimmy loves this community and the people who live here, and strives to provide treatment that not only meets, but exceeds the healthcare offered anywhere in the US. Many years have been spent perfecting his diagnostic and treatment skills for any and all orthopedic conditions. Currently he is one of only a handful physical therapists in KY, TN, VA and beyond that have been able to achieve certifications in orthopedic manual therapy (COMT), manual diagnosis and treatment (Cert MDT) and advanced integrative dry needling (CIDN). He feels this sets him apart when it comes to providing accurate diagnoses and treatment selection, to allow better and faster outcomes for his patients.

At the current time he is focusing on the athlete and has joined forces with an all-star cast to create a state-of-the-art indoor training facility, in hopes to provide a place for athletes to elevate their game to the next level. The goal is to allow more young people from this area to succeed at their sport and allow them to attend college where they can prepare for, and succeed in, their future.

He joins Taylor Bowling, along with her father Donny Grigsby, to accomplish this. After dedicating their time to seeing the sports performance side of the facility succeed, together Jimmy and Taylor will open a cutting edge, evidence based, physical and occupational therapy clinic. This will open in the spring of 2021.
